A 50-acre estate where your wedding day feels as polished as it does personal
There is a moment during almost every tour we give at The Barn at Walnut Grove when guests stop talking. They have just walked through the main floor of our barn, past the naturally distressed wood beams that have been standing since the Gilded Age, past the wood slab bar and the dance floor, and then they take a short ride to the ceremony site, step off the shuttle bus onto the hill that overlooks our 50 acres. The Blue Mountains sit in the distance. Wildflowers edge the stone walkways. A creek runs somewhere below.
And then someone says it.
"This is exactly what we pictured. Only better."
We hear that a lot. It never gets old.

Our property sits just outside the Lehigh Valley, surrounded by rolling farmland and the kind of quiet that makes you exhale the second you pull up the drive. We built this venue because we believed couples deserved a place where elegance and personality could exist in the same room without one canceling out the other.
That belief shapes everything we do here.
What We Mean When We Say "Elegance Without Losing Personality"
A lot of venues lean hard in one direction. You get the perfectly manicured ballroom with the crystal chandeliers and the harpist in the corner. Beautiful. But stiff. Or you get the hay bales and mason jars and a barn that still smells like it housed cattle last Tuesday. Charming. But rough.
We wanted something in between. Something that felt elevated without feeling untouchable. Something that had warmth and character but still made your guests feel like they walked into a celebration worth dressing up for.
That is the balance we chase every single day.

Our barn dates back to the 1890s. The beams are original. The wood has been naturally distressed through more than a century of use and weather. Each board and beam carries marks and grain patterns that no designer could replicate. That is the personality. It is built into the bones of the building.
The elegance comes from what we added. Climate control in every building. Indoor restrooms. A bridal suite with a shower, multiple hair and makeup stations, a sitting area, a bed, and a television. A groom's quarters with a pinball machine, a Buck Hunter video game, a foosball table, a bathroom, and a couch. A cocktail area on the lower level with a full microbrewery bar, because we are also home to Liberty Call Brewing Co. and we take our craft beer seriously and have 6 beers on draft at each wedding.
When you walk through our doors, you feel the history. But you also feel the care we put into making sure every corner serves the people standing in it.
The Spaces That Make It All Work
One of the things couples tell us they love about our property is that it does not feel like one space stretched thin. It feels like a collection of experiences.
Here is what we mean.
The Barn is the heart of the venue. Our main reception area holds up to 180 guests and comes with a dance floor, a dedicated space for a DJ or live band, and the wood slab bar. The ceiling stretches up into the original timber frame. String lights catch the grain of the wood overhead. At night, with the music going and everyone on their feet, the energy in this room is something you feel in your chest.

The Grounds surround the barn with landscaped gardens, pergolas, and a handcrafted bridge. The Springhouse Pavilion sits near a stream and serves as a gathering space by the groom & groomsmen before the ceremony and for guests during cocktail hour. It has its own cocktail bar for the spacious and comfortable cocktail patio with an abundance of seating and a propane heater that heats the whole cocktail patio on cold days.

The Ceremony Space sits at the top a the 50-acre property, overlooking rolling fields of farmland. Two paver patios hold our white church pews with a grass aisle that cuts down the center for when the bride and her escort walk out of the corn towards the beautiful white arbor with rolling hills and the Blue and Appalachian Mountains in the distance. We have watched almost a hundred couples say their vows up there, and we still get choked up from time to time.

The Cigar Lounge is our versatile space. It is used as an additional area for cocktail hour on extreme temperature days and a great place for a rehearsal dinner. Handcrafted post and beam construction. Wood slab bars and tables. A fireplace. An air quality control system. Multiple TVs. A deck with outdoor seating. It is one part cigar bar, one part cocktail lounge, and one part outdoor oasis. Guests love it here during cocktail hour.

The Treehouse sits in the branches of one of our largest walnut trees. It is a fully finished room with custom wood flooring, hand-built tabletops, a television, and full air conditioning. On a wedding day, it serves as a private retreat for the couple and their bridal party. It also overlooks the outdoor entertainment area, which means you can lean over the railing and give your guests a kiss from above.

The Zip Line runs over 300 feet from the hill outside the barn entrance to the Springhouse Pavilion. We are not kidding. We have a zip line. Brides have used it. Grooms have used it. It is one of those details that lands on Instagram reels and stays there. That is what we mean by personality.

Why Couples Pick Us Over Other Barn Venues in the Lehigh Valley and Berks County
We know there are a lot of beautiful barn wedding venues across Pennsylvania. The Lehigh Valley alone has some wonderful options, and we respect every single one of them. But we hear consistent reasons from the couples who choose us over the rest.
The first reason is that we are not just renting out a space. We are providing an experience. Our wedding package includes all tables, chairs, and a wedding design shop. We provide on-site catering from our own kitchen. We provide RAMP-certified bartenders and a full bar, including our own Liberty Call beer and Pennsylvania wine and spirits. We have a venue manager who is present all day to greet guests, manage vendor deliveries, and answer any questions.
The second reason is our pricing philosophy. We use a flat-rate structure with no hidden fees and no surprises. Couples tell us this took a massive amount of stress off their plates. What we quote is what they pay.
The third reason is the extras that come standard. Engagement photo sessions on the property. Unlimited scheduled appointments for planning visits. A fully restored 1940 Dodge Pickup for photos and transportation from the ceremony site to the treehouse. A one-hour rehearsal slot. Access to the property from 6 AM until 11:30pm on the wedding day. Our exclusive Wedding Design Shop that has enough décor to decorate the tables and ceremony site. The only additional costs with us is use of our school bus for hotel shuttle, a fireworks send-off or a rehearsal dinner.
And the fourth reason, honestly, is the zip line, the treehouse and the brewery all sitting on the same 50 acres. No other venue in the region gives couples that range of experiences in one location. You get the refined elegance of a beautifully restored historic barn paired with the kind of personality that makes your wedding genuinely yours.
